WELCOME TO MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT

Brief History of the Department

The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1992 with B.Sc. M.P.C. group with Telugu  medium  these group provided Physics and Chemistry. Later M.P.Cs. group was introduced with mathematics combination in English medium during the year 2001.

At present, two  faculty members are working in this department . CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) was introduced in the year 2015. The syllabus of the course is framed according to the syllabus of affiliated university Yogi Vemana University on the recommendations of the members of Board of Studies

The department arranges Guest faculty Seminars and conduct student Seminars, Quiz, Group discussions.  The department conducts remedial classes for slow learners and bridge course for non-mathematics students.  The faculty are the members of MOOC online courses.  The faculty members of the department attended the Seminars, Workshops and faculty development programmes.  The department was headed by stalwarts like Nagabhushanam reddy, Yerraiah, and Vijaya Bhaskar reddy worked with this department.

At the end of the course student will be able to

• Solve the Differential Equations of first order and higher order Differential Equations with constant coefficients.
• Understand the concepts of Abstract algebra.
• Solve the problems in Linear algebra.
• Classify the problems in Real analysis.
• Apply the Numerical methods in solving the scientific problems.
